Hello, 6 months ago I bought a laptop acer TRITON 300 (240hz, I7 10750, RTX2070 max q) and despite several problems that I had at the beginning I am sadisfied with the purchase, even so, several days ago I noticed that the right fan (The one with the gpu) started to make a rather strange noise when it was working (it sounds like a lawn mower but with a very slight sound that depending on the speed this is more intense or quieter in addition to making the laptop vibrate too much), even so Despite this sound, the fans were still in normal operation and I didn't want to give it much importance out of fear, even so yesterday I noticed that now the fan began to have frequency drops (going from 6000 rpm to 4000 in just seconds and not even exceeding the 5300 rpm with the mode that is supposed to make the fans work at their maximum capacity) and I have already started to decide whether to take a look at the fan, even then I would like to know if any of you can It gives an idea of what the origin of this problem would be, it must also be clarified that at no time did the laptop suffer any impact, it was a problem that appeared from one day to the next, also that I know nothing was put into the fan, I always use it in a cool area and with a clean surface, neither did any type of liquid fall on it, so I would like to know if any of you know what could be the origin of this, also if you can contact me Some of you and perhaps thus facilitate an audio of the fan, see if it is necessary to take it to a technician or if it could be something that can be solved at home, I will value any help or advice, thanks for reading

Right side fan is usually for CPU and one on the left is for GPU. Any way, when i bought my triton 500, a weird noise was coming from one of the gpu fans. It was not that much noticeable while on idle but on gaming one can clearly notice there is some piece hitting fan blades.  So, i opened it up completely, took out motherboard and noticed a piece of tape which was partially glued to back of keyboard (it was supposed to held down some plastic piece, which i do not remember) was hitting fan blades and causing that weird noise. I just pressed that glue and from that day it is working as new.

At first, before taking apart my laptop, i was thinking it could be a plastic piece protruding out inside fan case, because in past I have seen in some fans having that problem.

    Hi @Elraboh,

Did you try to adjust the fan speed in predator sense app and check.
