So I did a factory reset on my Predator helios 300 and all of my drivers got erased.  Is there an iso with all the drivers auto installed because im not sure which driver to install

    Hello,

Please visit the Acer site and download Applications, Bios and Drivers you want. (In menu section)

Please match the model number correctly before downloading.

    https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/8376?b=1

Also download Nvidia GeForce Experience and Intel Driver Assistant and update the remaining drivers.

Windows Update will update "most" required drivers automatically.

(Note: I am not acer's official. Just a person with who did the same with same laptop.)

OneInfamousMan if you have used a windows usb drive you formatted the built in acer recovery partition that would pre install everything (ALT+F10 on boot) thats goodbye forever im affraid from now on you need to always download and install everything from acer support manually so my advice always clone your drive to another as backup if you dont want to loose the acer stock recovery :)

Don't forget the Applications too (Predator Sense etc) .

If you don't have intel optane then you won't need storage driver. (it won't install even if you try anyway)

Also check the touchpad vendor. You only need one of it(synaptic or elantech)

After installing all of them, update all apps in windows store.

Also, you can update your bios too (it is advised to only do if you have problems in version you have).
(Version 2.02 for PH315-53 have undervolting  unlocked.)

is there a manual way in which i can reinstate the recovery partition once again? i dont have a problem with manually installing the drivers but instead i have this itch of always preferring the factory presets!

Heliosi5RTX2060 can you elaborate on your question? I will try to answer as much I understood.

Windows 10 creates a recovery partition automatically after a clean install (after wiping OS drive), You only need to install the drivers only once. Win10 creates 4 partitions on a completely formatted drive. First EFI, MSR, and Win Partition, then, at last, the recovery.

And about the factory presets: Many users clean wipe their brand new machine as soon as they get it. This practice is used to get rid of all the bloatware pre-installed on the device.

I would recommend the following : (my personal opinion)

    1. Clean wiping all the storage disks (at least OS drive).
    2. Installing the drivers and predator apps from the site(acer/intel/ryzen/nvidia).
    3. Updating windows update (except feature update!)
    4. Updating win store APPs.
    5. Setting up and personalizing the user.
    6. Installing your essential-required software/apps.
    7. Creating a backup.
In this way, you will have your own preset - (better than than the factory preset?)

    Hi
thank you for the detailed reply

recently i did a MANUAL install of win 11 on my system (not with the auto upgrade from windows updates). but after using it for a day or two, i reverted back to windows 10.
while reinstalling windows 10, i wanted the install to be fresh and clean so instead of just formatting, i actually DELETED all the partitions (including efi msr etc.) and then created a new full block of the ssd and let windows partition the drive automatically into efi msr and recovery and windows partition again.
everything has been working really fine but i got two problems which wasn't there before:

    i) my laptop suddenly stops responding to headphones..i plug them in but sounds come out of speaker only. everytime that happens, i need to disable and enable the device driver from control panel and reboot my laptop to fix it. I tried reinstalling the drivers again and again from acer's website (with correct model number and correct driver version, no mistakes here) but i still face the problem from time to time. i ran through all the realtek consoles and sound settings but found no problem there

ii) the change boot logo which was there in predator sense disappeared and now i'm stuck with the stock boot logo

i thought maybe reinstalling the factory drivers might help so i wanted to know if there was a way to get them back

@Heliosi5RTX2060 theres no manual but as long as your acer recovery partition its still intact ALT+F10 on boot will always work for a clean install
