Good afternoon. I am trying to upgrade the ram in my PO3-630 and doesn't want to work. The ram I purchased is the same CL (22), voltage (1.2v), speed (3200) and not XMP ram. The original and new ram will work independently but not together. I have tried swapping the ram pair positions and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?
original ram - AM2P32NC8W1-BCFS
new ram - CT2K16G4DFRA32A

When I install all 4 ram modules the computer won't start. The motherboard gives a solid error beep and hangs.0

If I install either pair or ram in either slot pairs on the motherboard they work. But together they won't.0

Are both RAM kits of same size? Maybe the original one is 8 + 8Gb and the new one 16 + 16Gb. Even this can cause problems in some cases, but then again your manual says that you should be able to use 48Gb configuration. At least you should be able to use all of the RAM at a lower "safe" speed (most likely 2133, 2400 or 2600).
Have you checked what CPU-Z says about each kit? Do they run at the same speed according to it? You can check this also in Windows Task Manager under Performance tab and Memory leaf. What does it say in Speed for both individual kits?
Usually for any guarantee is to get four identical sticks. If the new kit is 16 + 16 and is running at the correct speed, I'd leave it at that. 32Gb is plenty for most tasks. But if you need more, well, I'm afraid you may have to order another kit, but even that might not work.0 -
CPU-Z says 3200 for both.

Here is the matrix for installing ram:It looks like mixed sizes aren't supported under 32GB, but that might just be deciding to not populate little used combos.Click on "Like" if you find my answer useful or click on "Yes" if it answers your question.0

It wouldn't be under 32G. I have a pair of 16G and a pair of 8G.

May I know what you do with your PC? If your main use is playing games, in most cases you won't gain more performance by going over 32Gb. Even if you mainly edit 4K videos on your PC, I doubt you'll see much of a difference between 32 or 48/64Gbs of RAM. About 6K and 8K I'm not sure.
But if you really need more RAM your best bet will be to sell those smaller sticks and get another identical 32Gb kit... and hope that it will work at full speed. ^^0 -
I work in networking and when studying for Cisco certifications run EVE-ng. If I have ISE, AD, and a couple Firepowers running it eats RAM pretty quickly.

So you need to populate to 16, 8, 16, 8 in the slots, as shown in the 48GB section of that table.

Yes, I did that. I also tried 8,16,8,16.

Here is a LINK to a thread about using 32Gb RAM sticks. Since that discussion is about PO3-620 and not 630, I don't know if it will help you or nor. But if you really need more RAM, maybe you can give it a try? Of course there is still that option of ordering another kit of those new RAM sticks you got.0

Hi did you resolve this issue??,
I am having the same issue with
2x8gig (original 8gb1xrx8 pc4 2666v ua2- 11 ) &
FURY KF426C16BBK2/16 1G x 64-bit (8GB) DDR4-2666 CL16 SDRAM 1Rx8,
both work by themselves as a pair but not together?
pc wont boot just beeps

The Kingston Fury is XMP memory and I don't believe XMP is supported at any of the overclock speeds in a PO3-630. Send them back and get normal 2666 memory.
