Hey guys! I just got the acer swift 3 (sf314-43) laptop with amd ryzen 7 5700u, 8gb ram and 512GB SSD.

I wanted to know if there are any upgradability options for the ram and storage? Are there any empty slots for the ram or is the 8gb ram upgradable?

The RAM is soldered onto the motherboard and no empty ram slot or 2.5" drive slot. You can upgrade the M.2 SSD only.

Yes, the SF314-43 models come with either 8GB or 16GB of memory, all soldered to the motherboard, so no expansion there. The SSD is upgradable to whatever size you can afford in the M.2 NVMe x2 or x4 2280 form factor. Be sure you pick up an external NVMe case to use when cloning the existing drive to the new one and then after you are done with the upgrade you can still use the old drive in the case.
