My swift 3 SF315-41 AMD keyboard backlit turns off automatically and doesn't turn on. After pressing the power button the lights lits for some time while booting and when the windows is completely on it turns off and cant be turned on pressing fn+f9. I tried all the available solutionss i found online. Resetting battery using the pinhole, uninstall and reinstall keyboard driver, and dont know how many time i downgraded and upgraded windows versions but none worked. Now i have become so frustrated abt it.
Is there any solution?

Which BIOS version is installed? Go in to the BIOS and do a Ctrl-S on the Main tab. Check to see if any backlight settings show up in that mode. Since you can see the backlight during the startup process we know your model isn't one of the ones that don't have a backlight...

@Easwar here are the images. Look the backlight even works in BIOS. But it doesn't work while operating windows.

    Hi @RaveAmra,

Currently there is no option to keep the keyboard backlight always On. You can press FN+F9 to turn the keyboard backlight on and off. The default settings for keyboard backlight on battery power is set to OFF.

@Easwar idont need always on. The problem is. I doesn't turn on after startup. Like while using the laptop backlight doesn't works. It only works while booting and in bios setup.

What happens in Windows when you do the toggle? It sounds like it's Windows that's disabling it...

@billsey nothing happens. I feel the same that windows is disabling it. But i tried booting with several windows 10 versions.

I notice with mine if I have Touchpad Settings up and do the Fn-F7 toggle, it doesn't affect Window's settings, but does disable it. When I toggle it off in Windows settings it doesn't toggle back on with Fn-F7. That tells me they are exclusive of each other. Check to make sure both are on...
