I was playing a video in KMPlayer and I paused the video and was afk for around an hour or so. Then I resumed playing the (My computer was in sleep mode; I had to wake it up and then resume my video). When I resumed my video, I saw a small flicker on the screen. At first I thought it must be a problem with the video. Then I finished watching it and then I saw the issue was not only in the video but in the display itself. Then I quickly searched YouTube for a solution and came across a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Vl3EmyZX2s) and there I uninstalled my graphic drivers, both Intel and Nvidia. But as soon as I finished uninstalling the drivers and the flickering was severe, maybe around 2 seconds frequency the flicker problem occurred, but after  reinstalling the drivers the problem wasn't there anymore. My screen came back to normal. My question is if this is a hardware issue or a driver issue, and if this will come back to haunt me again in the future.
And the most horrifying this is the double image was in Acer logo as well (Before the windows loading screen) because of this I am not certain if this is only a driver issue.
Every answer is highly appreciated, thank you.

I am glad it is working fine after reinstalling the drivers.  Right now, it looks like a software issue..

In future if you are facing the same issue, please follow the steps given below:

We can easily determine whether it is a hardware or software issue..   Turn off the computer.   Tap f2 while turning on the computer.   It will go to bios.   Please stay on the bios screen for 30 mins.    If the display is looking good on bios then it is a software issue.   If the display is not looking good on the bios screen then it is a hardware issue.

If it is a software issue try the following the steps..

    Try windows x
    go to device manager
    expand display adapter
right click on display driver - uninstall
    Restart the computer

    It should work fine..

If it is still not working
Uninstall the display adapter from device manager
    Don’t restart the computer.
    Go to support.acer.com
    chose your country
type snid or chose your model
    go to drivers
    Install the display driver

    Hi @JanithRushantha,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.

Thank you both for replying quickly
I went to the BIOS menu, and sadly the display is flickering there as well. But the problem is for a small amount of time, it goes away after a few minutes. I guess it's a hardware issue, might be the connectors of the display.
I will hand over my laptop to Acer care center near me.  :'(
