My SP513-52N-55LV not detecting Active Stylus touch but shows cursor movement.

My Acer Spin 5 shows the cursor movement of my acer pen but there is no touch input anymore. I tried to mess around with the settings but nothing hasn't worked. I'm beginning to think the tip is worn out but I can't tell. Any fix will be greatly appreciated.

As for as i know there hasnt been any software or hardware changes because the pen touch input stopped (although using my hand input works perfectly fine) because it stopped working in the middle of my lecture .

    Try these step and check

    Step 1: Uninstall the touchscreen drivers

    a) Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.

    b) Click on “Device Manager” from that list.

    c) Search for the touchscreen adapter/drivers from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.

    d) Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and the restart the computer if prompted.

    After the restart, you may again open the Device Manager and then click on the “Scan for hardwarechanges” button at the top of the Device Manager window and check if Windows 10 detects the touchscreen devices and installs an appropriate driver for it automatically. If that happens, then check if it resolves the issue.

     

    Step 2: Update Driver Software from the Acer website:

    If the issue still reappears then you may refer to the Acer website and install the latesttouchpad/touchscreen adapter/drivers for the device. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

    If I uninstall the drivers won't it dissapear from my device manager list making me unable to reinstall it again?

    Yeah I just did what you did but nothing changed.
