    Much expensive in France (443 $): http://www.darty.com/nav/achat/informatique/portables/tablette/acer_iconia_w3_32go.html

RAM 2 Gb, but no GPS, 2MP for each camera (is it possible in 2013?) and no Bluetooth...

Depends on how you look at it.

    1) Local OD just did a price match for me.

    2) I have much better camera's that just plug in, could care less about installed, key point is that it is easy to integrate a back up camera with Windows, impossible with Android/iOS.

    3) Both Streets and Trips 2013 and Street Atlas 2013 are under $50 with a USB GPS receiver

    - would be nice if someone had an app to link the GPS in my smart phone

    4) Bluetooth is built into the US models dunno about EU

    5) What does an iPad Mini sell for in Fr ? This is why the U$299.99 price point is important. And with most of Office is a plus (I use Eudora for e-mail).

    6) I find that 2GB is pleanty, I even cut the swapfile way down to add free space. A lot of the resrictions to Clover Trail devices (like the 32 bit limitation) is to reduce power/extend battery life. May also be the reason for no power hungary GPS (400mw/hr)

    7) Keep in mind that this is the first. If you look at the design I don't think a smaller package is possible today though 7" would fit more pockets than 8.1" - limit is probably the innards. Next generation will be better.

ps the link you included says "Bluetooth Oui".

No Bluetooth on Acer french site (http://www.acer.fr/ac/fr/FR/content/model-datasheet/NT.L1JEF.001). Maybe they forgot it. But they speak about a keyboard.

About iPad Mini, it's exactly the same price in France. 443 $ for the 16 Go.

For me, W3 is more attractive than iPad.

Hardly anyone gets everything rite. Would not make sense for it not to have bluetooth unless there is a local regulation since the keyboard depends on it.

    Kewl...

Just did a retroactive price match with Staples by calling them (14 days is the time limit...) on the 64gb version... (already had to original price match from 429 to 399 when I ordered)

Thanks for the Office Depot link...

So the 64gb was only $349.99 and then with the rewards points I spent for Ink Rewards of $40.00 out of pocket before taxes was $309.99.

    Ted...
