I have the g3-571 model and i hear the pcie slot version is 3.0? Sequential reads up to 3,500MB/s on this SSD and up to 3,000MB/s write. Will even half of this be used by my predator? tyy https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/980/

    Hi,
Yes, if you buy a larger size of this SSD you might get the Read/Write speed of atleast half the advertised speed, please check the speeds for 1TB SSD for similar SSDs.

thanks for posting those links, i can tell the 970 was probably a better option for me but i've already ordered the 980 SSD. Btw, i've an issue that i'm not sure how to address.. i have a stripped screw that holds down the old SSD. This screw has never been removed since this laptops creation, it always refused to be removed and now i was thinking about using an electric drill and an appropriate drill bit to grind it down. Would this work? thanks..

Have you had any issues with this drive since installing it. I bought mine on cyber Monday and i feel like my computer is less smooth. it seems a little glitchy or lagging when i am opening a program. And even a little worse on games. Just age of empires 4 so far.
