So as stated, the left side hinge is broken and the screen seems to be opening/peeling from that end.
I have a 2 year extended warranty upto 2023.
Now, what I wanted to know was if the repair of the same is covered in the warranty that I have or will the cost have to be incurred by me since it is not necessarily damaged by me but just happened over time?

If you have the Total notebook protection plan warranty than the damage will be covered by Acer warranty , since if you just 2 year warranty, damages will not covered under the warranty.Click on 'Yes' if the comment answers your question!0 -

Hi @Nolimitflacko,
It looks like hardware issue. Contact acer tech support,
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/IN/content/service-contact
OR book the unit for repair service,

Thanks for your help.
But the service engineer already reported the issue to ACER and it is covered under warranty and currently the part is in transit.
Appreciate your help though. (:0
