Hi, I had the same issue after buying this laptop and I was about to return it before finding the real solution.
It kept on disconnecting and online gaming was a lag massacre.
It looks like this issue comes with the version of the laptop with the ethernet board "Realtek Gaming GbE Family Controller" and Windows 10 (there's another version with a Killer board, but apparently that one does not give any problem).

Don't update any driver (windows 10 automatically finds the latest version by itself silently). Just do what this video says:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEE0UD_tgLQ

Written instructions for those who don't want to see a 3 mins long video:
    - Go to Device Manager in Windows 10.
    - Open Network Adapter, right-click on "Realtek Gaming GbE Family Controller" and choose Properties.
    - Go to the tab Advanced
    - Set "Auto Disable Gigabit" to "Relink, battery or AC".
    - Set "Green Ethernet" to disabled.
    - Go to windows CMD and run it as administrator.
    - Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press enter
    - Type "netsh winsock reset" and press enter
    - Restart your PC

Doing the above totally solved it for me. It stopped disconnecting and online gaming doesn't lag anymore, I'm extremely happy.
Hope this can help someone else.

If your wifi is disconnecting frequently, it might due to the wifi sense feature. To fix this problem, you, ll have to disable wifi sense on your window. To do that, you just need to follow these steps: Open the Settings app and go to Network & Internet section.

You can also use this simple method to fix it:-

    Method 1: Update Driver

    1. Go to Device Manager (Right-click on the Windows logo and select Computer Management > Device Manager).
    2. Expand Network Adapters and then search for Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A Wireless Network Adapter
    3. Right-click on it and navigate to details > Hardware Ids
    4. Go back and uninstall the device (Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A Wireless Network Adapter)
    5. Download the driver for Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A Wireless Network Adapter and extract it.
    6. Go to Device Manager and install the driver by selecting the Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A Wireless Network Adapter and then click “Update Driver” > “Browse my computer for driver software” > “Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer”
    7. Restart the laptop and connect to the WiFi network.
If still, your wifi keeps disconnecting you can use this second method:-

Method 2: Change the WiFi Channel

    1. Connect to your WiFi
    2. Open any browser and type 192.168.0.1 and hit enter. This will open the WiFi settings menu. Remember that the login IP varies on different company routers. In my case on iBall, it is 192.168.1.1 and on TP-Link and D-Link it is 192.168.0.1. Check at the back of the router for the login IP.
    3. Login to your WiFi settings menu. (By default the id and password is admin).
    4. Navigate to Wireless settings and select the Channel to any other number and save it.
    5. Restart your router and connect.
May this will help you to connect with your wifi

This is the driver problem, I have found the solution. My device is Acer nitro 5 (an515-45-r375) with MediaTek Wi-fi MT7921 wireless card.

First go to device manager and Network adapter

Go to MediaTek and click property

    Update driver

The driver is working great for me.

Click next and your problem should be solved.

If you have different acer model or different Wifi card. This method might still work.

The most important thing is that the driver must be compatible (Show compatible hardware checkbox must be checked).
