Multiple Monitors on a Predator Triton Laptop - USB c issue - Predator Triton 300 model 315-52

I have a Predator Triton 300 model 315-52 for OBS and Video production.

I bought a dongle to give myself a second HDMI monitor off the USB C port. It does not work and to cut a long story short it appears the laptop does not support DP Alt Mode and my adapter hub requires that mode.

My question is how can I connect multiple monitors from my model of laptop?
- can DP Alt Mode be enabled some way ?
- Is there a different kind of adapter that does not need DB Alt Mode to connect to HDMI?
- Is there some other solution?

    Hi @StevePatten,

You can connect through docking stations for this you can use DP,HDMI,VGA cables what ever supports to your system.

Right-click anywhere on the desktop and select Screen resolution, then choose Extend these displays from the Multiple displays drop-down menu, and click OK or Apply.

Extend displays does not offer an option - |I think it is more fundamental that that - the system does not recognise it has another display.

I bought a Mini DP DisplayPort adapter but it still does not recognise my monitor cable as it would seem the USB Type C is not the correct type to support a display as it does not support DP Alt mode (whatever that is)

There are loads of YouTubes that show this can be solved by powering down devices and rebooting - they dont work as far as I can see
