Keyboard backlight on Spin 5 SP513-54N-52GA not coming back on

I've turned the keyboard backlight off and now it won't come back on :anguished:

    Hello!!

    @aurelien,  Have you tried pressing the keyboard backlight button [shown in the below image] in the keyboard? 



    If you have tried that & still keyboard backlight does not come on, please try pressing FN + F9 key and check. If issue persists, I request you to please share the complete model # [SP513-52N-58WW].

    I tried all this but the backlight is still not coming back on. The model is SP513-54N-52GA

    Note that the SP513-54N Spin 5 model has the keyboard backlight toggle on the F8 key, not F9. With mine when you toggle it off (I have my keys defaulting to function keys, so I have to use Fn-F8) the backlight turns off altogether, when I toggle it back on I get the backlight as long as I'm typing, but when I stop for a while it takes a key press to turn it back on. This is the normal behavior I believe.
