my Predator Helios 300 also had a very low volume. This fixed the problem:
Right-click the audio icon on the task bar and click "Sounds". Go to "playback" and double-click the default device and go to the "Custom" tab. Remove the check on "Limited Output" and then click "OK" to confirm.
Hi, I cannot find the “custom” tab so I cannot remove the limited output check. Is there any way that you can help me?

    HI,
Make sure to install the latest BIOS version, drivers followed by DTSx application.
While the BIOS is upgraded make sure the laptop is powered.
Open DTSx app where you can choose different options.I usually keep it on automatic mode.
    Screenshot attached.

Edit:The new 2021 version of Helios 300 doesn't have the below fix.

@aanderson151 if you want a really good boost in sound on any laptop/desktop i suggest u to get FX sound been using it for years its great to boost the sound and previously on win7 and under i would use srs audio and dfx which would do the same and even more but its not supported under 10

    Hi @xapim,
Thanks for this fine program, I am very pleased with it and donated because I believe that we should encourage developers like this.
