Acer Predator XB323U Gxbmiiphzx 32" 270Hz and am hoping there is some solution to some crazy issues before I return the monitor.

I recently bought an Acer Predator XB323U Gxbmiiphzx 32" 270Hz and am hoping there is some solution to some issues I find crazy before I return the monitor. As it stands now, in Standard mode, all monitor settings work as they should, however if anyone knows about playing sRGB content on a Wide Color Gamut screen (which is about 95% of all content), the colors are extremely oversaturated and innaccurate. Obviously some tweaking of saturation levels makes it a little better, but not ideal.

There is an sRGB mode that makes it usable for sRGB content, but it locks ALL monitor settings except for brightness.
Another option that I've tried is getting windows 11 which has an auto HDR mode. This makes everything look great with the monitor in HDR mode, but again in HDR mode the monitor locks ALL SETTINGS. Not even brightness can be changed, resulting in heat coming from the monitor that can warm my entire room.

My question: is there any way that the settings can be unlocked? If not, who is this monitor for? If non HDR content looks poor unless in sRGB mode and both that mode and HDR locks all settings, what is the point of all the settings? What usage is there besides sRGB content and HDR content? As far as I know, there is no WCG content without HDR so in essence the monitor has all these neat settings that are locked if in either of the modes required for content to look great are used.

Hopefully I'm missing something here.

Gheko7, change Color Temp to user and it will unlock the RGB Gain and Bias settings. Also, grab the Acer Display Widget if you haven't yet. Much easier than the tiny joystick.

Thanks for the answer CRomer. The Acer Display Widget is a ton easier to use, so thanks for that even though it is missing a few options. That being said, this does not solve the issue as setting to sRGB mode and then changing ANY of the settings in the Acer Display Widget just turns off sRGB mode. In HDR mode, the settings are all still locked, so while the Widget is a great tool, it does not solve any of the fundamental issues with the monitor it seems.

Yeah, definitely missing a few like Auto for HDR and Bias for RGB. However, for any other Mode other than HDR, if you change the color to User, you can change the RGB values. The modified Mode than becomes 'User'. You can save back/replace G1-G3 from User.

Also, you can Export/Import your user setting. So if you mess up G1-G3, you can reset to Default and then Import your User again if needed.

I have experienced the same issues. I am a windows insider, so I expect some glitches. The HDR certification is not recorded by the latest build of windows 11, 22H2. Where can I find it, so that I could install it manually, if possible.
