XR341CK No Power

I came home last night and my Acer XR341CK would not power on. I can't even get an led light from the panel. Obvisouly, I tested different wall outlets and checked the connections. I hooked a voltage meter up to the power supply and it's gettiing 28v, so that's not the issue, unfortunately. If it were any other monitor I'd chalk it up and get a new one, but it's so expensive and I enjoy it so much I'll have to pay Acer to repair it if I can't find a solution. Could it be a fuse?

The AC Adapter should be 19V 135W, not 28V... Do you have tools to test it's output under a load?

I can go to a friend that has some. Do you think that would really cause it not to power on at all, though?

Yes, too high or too low would both cause it to fail.
