Acer Aspire E1-571 miracast not supported

Hello,
I've an Acer Aspire E1-571 with Win10 updated and I see from the DxDiag.txt file that the miracast is not supported.
Is there a way to update the drivers to support it or is it a matter of hardware without solutions?

Thanks.

If you have an atheros wifi running on Win10 click on this link to download its Win8x driver. Unzip the file then right click on the setup EXE file properties. Click the compatibility tab and run the EXE file in Win10's Win8x compatibility mode. Jack E/NJ

I've a Broadcom 802.11 and driver version 6.30.223.170 with Win10. Is there an equivalent driver that can add the mirror screen functionality? Thanks

Hi, I have an E1-570 running Window 8.1 and recently tried to Project to my new Hitachi TV (to which our Android tablet casts OK).  Like LucasM above DXDIAG says Miracast not supported.  Furthermore, there is no option on DEVICES>PROJECT to project to a Wireless Device.
The Qualcomm Atheros 956x Wireless Adapter has the following details:
Name: Qualcomm Atheros AR956x Wireless Network Adapter
    Device ID: PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0036&SUBSYS_063211AD&REV_01\4&1FFE360&0&00E1
       Driver: C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\athwbx.sys, 10.00.0000.0279 (English), 1/6/2014 22:40:48, 3881984 bytes
       Driver: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\vwifibus.sys, 6.03.9600.18438 (English), 8/13/2016 01:03:08, 24576 bytes

I followed JackE's link but that took me to version 10.0.0.263 which looked older version but later date - though it did say "Enable Miracast MCC".
Confused as what to do!  Try it and roll back if no change?

Use the latest ACER OEM drivers on the ACER download site.

Thanks JackE,  I went to ACER support site and downloaded the relevant Atheros WLan drivers, which were still 10.0.0.279 and there was no change after installation & reboot.
A common resolution I read from others with the same problem was to UN-check "Deterministic Network Enhancer".  Sadly I don't have it in my Wi-Fi properties to uncheck!
I've looked at my Bitdefender and I haven't got VPN switched on (which may have been another issue some had).
Can't believe so many of us within the ACER community have struggled with this - makes me cautious of getting an ACER again - whenever I do decide to upgrade, by which time it'll be Windows 11 (or 12!!)
Guess it's give up time and cast from my Android tablet!
    Thanks again
