Hello all.

My Bluetooth is no longer working since it no longer has an off switch!
I have tried restarting my computer several times and have updated my computer to the most recent version hoping the update would give me back the on/off toggle button yet it did not work ☹.

Please help me fix this! I don't know how to get my model number but i hope this helps!

Open System Information and look under the System Model line to see which model you have. Let us know what that is so we can better target the answer to your system. If you then run Device Manager are there any errors or warnings shown? Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers section and the USB Connector Managers section and take a screen shot for us.

At least one more step... Right click on the Bluetooth USB Module entry in Device Manager to bring up Properties so we can see what it's complaining about.

That is the right info. Now go to the Details tab and copy the entry under Hardware IDs. That will tell us exactly which adapter is installed. Qualcomm has had several different Atheros chips.

Just goes to show, ask enough questions and it'll get bored enough to just give up and start working. :)
