Few seconds after I am logged in, the screen goes blank and then system automatically logs out and the screen comes to life again. Everytime I log in, the same thing happens. Even if I don't login and wait at the log-in screen, the screen goes blank and comes to life continuosly for 8-10 times and then finally the screen goes blank and doesn't come to life. The indicator light is on, fan is on, (keyboard backlight - sometimes ON, sometimes OFF), only the screen is off. I have to forcefully turn off the computer.

Many a time, the system doesn't turn ON at all afterwards using the power button. I have to use the battery reset pin to switch it on again. But even after turning ON, the same thing happens again. I searched the internet and found similar issues with other people but their solution was mostly the battery reset pin unfortunately which didn't work for me.

Is there a solution to this? And what may be the issue here? looking forward for some help from the community.

Model: Acer Swift 3 Core SF314-55G

Thanks for providing the model number, that helps a lot... If you boot to the BIOS screen and hang out there is everything stable, or does the screen still act up? If it's solid there then likely we are looking at a corrupted driver or a background task in Windows. If it blanks while in the BIOS it's much more likely to be a hardware issue.

Thank you for replying. I did a fresh installation of the windows through 'Repair Mode', and also uninstalled the graphics driver and then restarted the system. Now the above problem is not occuring since 2-3 days. But sometimes the system is freezing (once or twice a day) even if no applications are running. Even Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't work. Since this system has SSD and 8Gigs of RAM, it shouldnt normally hang like this. What do you make out of it...? Can this be a Hardware Issue? Or anything else....?

Thanks for replying. I did that, did a freah installation of Windows through repair mode, uninstalled the graphics driver and the problem hasn't occured since 2-3 days but now the system sometimes freezes/hangs without any application running. I am so much ***** at this laptop. I have used Compaq, HP, Samsung and Dell previously but none of them had these type of problem. I think acer has some serious hardware issues. What do you make out of the problen I am facing...?

Try booting to safe mode and see if the freeze happens there. In safe mode third party drivers aren't loaded, so if it doesn't happen there but does when booted normally it points to it being something added after the base Windows install.
