    Hi @mariaaaa

Since you already tried with the drivers uninstallation and everything. I would recommend you to do the complete reset of the computer. But make sure you have the backup of all the files. Because you will tend to loose everything from the computer during the reset.

Check the below link for the reset process.

Hope it will help you in some way.

Fire up Device Manager and look closely for any warnings or errors. It's possible the error isn't with the touchscreen specifically, but the data channel that runs between the touchscreen and motherboard. That looks to the system like a USB port and we've seen instances with some of the Windows updates over the last year or so that can get those confused. Confuse data is just ignored so the device can look like it's not there at all.

I really appreciate your help. I did try either keeping my files and deleting all files as the 1st attempt didn't work. But, I'm still unable to use touchscreen. I thought resetting would fix all the problems but it didn't work for me. I don't know what's going on my laptop....

Are there any drivers with device manager issues?
    Hi egydiocoelho
The thing is I can't even check if there's any driver issues. It just happened once and worked well and then didn't work at all.

My assumption from the description was that Windows was working, it was just the touchscreen that is acting up. You should be able to go into Device Manager to look for errors or warnings, though it might be easiest to use an external mouse.

For a Windows PC you can easily get into Device Manager using either a right click on the start menu then choose Device Manager from the list, or by pressing the Windows key and typing Device Manager. Normally the list of devices is collapsed to just show the headings. If there's an issue with a device it will expand that heading and show the devices in it. One or more of those will have something like an exclamation point on it's icon. Right clicking on the icon and choosing Properties will usually give some more information. Take a screen shot with Device Manager open, another with the bad device near the center and another of the Properties page.
