Can I add more RAM and add SSD to my Acer Swift 3 SF314-54G-31YU?
My laptop model is: Acer Swift 3 SF314-54G-31YU (i3 7020U, Ram memory 4gb, HDD 1tb) I bought this model in 2018.

Yes, you can upgrade memory in our model, you have one slot covered with a metal cover, you can add 8GB 2133MHz module in the slot, you can also install a M.2 NVMe SSD in your laptop, please read these threads for more information.

I've also heard from some, especially the SF314 54G series can be up to 20GB, which means we can add 16GB of sticks, in the slot?

There have been a couple of designs where putting a 16GB stick in works and gives you 20GB total. There have been many more where that doesn't work and an 8GB stick is the largest, giving 12GB.

i also check the cpu [i3 7020u] can handle 32gb of ram, but i don't now the slot can handle 16gb stick

As I said, there have been a few customers who have stated they added a 16GB stick to a laptop from around that era and it worked. The only way to know if that is valid for your specific model is to try it. Be sure to purchase the memory from a vendor that allows for returns, so you can send it back and get an 8GB stick instead if it doesn't work.
