My headphone jack isn't working, I only used it once since I bought it & it only worked in one ear unless I held it and now it's not working at all. I found the Acer help desk very slow and I still have no solution yet.

Your best solution for a faulty headphone jack plug would be to contact Acer Technical support so they can send the unit for a warranty repair. The fact that you had to hold the headphone jack at an angle, indicates that there was a unit defect to begin with. The original issue would have been the side spring tab in the actual jack was compressed too far back. At this point,  it is either siting in the jack flush or has come off altogether.

Typical Acer rule is that you are within 90 days of purchase, they can arrange to have the unit picked up at either your home address or an alternate address of your choice. If, however, you are outside of the 90 days of unit purchase, you will have to pay for shipping to their repair facility.

    Hope this helps, Jay :-)
