Having real trouble setting up Windows 7 on new V3 571G - HELP PLEASE!

Hi guys I hope all is well with you, and im hoping you can help me here!

1) Today I bought an Acer Aspire V3 571G and after a boot to check everything was fine the first thing I did was swap out the HD for a new one and put Windows 7 on there. Windows 7 installs fine, but for some reason the WLAN adapter isn't detected at all. I downloaded ALL of the drivers from the Acer website, installed them, and still no luck.

I know the adapter isn't faulty because I saw it working on Windows 8 around 5 minutes before I installed Windows 7! I installed the Broadcom and the Atheros and both don't work, very frustrating. Any ideas?

2) Do Acer not have a driver pack download, or a way to install of the necessary drivers etc automatically? Its a pain in the ***** having to download and install everything separatrly.

Thanks!

Rich.

i had this problem a few times too...

    1) have you tried enabling the wifi driver by pressing fn + F3?

    2) download and install the wifi atheros driver

    3) uninstall any existing wifi driver through device manager and reinstall it.

    4) again, try no 1.

usually it's because of no.1 that my wifi goes missing.
