heating issue in acer swift 3x SF314- 510G

I bought acer swift 3x 5 days ago. It has a decent battery with 6-7 hrs of battery life with location off. But I have a major problem than battery on my product that is of heating. It is heating too much, it can go 55 C even in light usage such as using browser with few pdf open. 

Is it normal or my product is defective? I think my fan is not working , is there any way to check the fan. I used speedfan but it is not showing anyhting.

    what is the exact model? Example an515-51-58vh.

    Hi Ayyyushhhhh,

    Try to do power drain,

    1. Shutdown the unit.
    2. Unplug the cables connected to the unit.
    3. At bottom of the unit there will be a small tiny pin hole with a battery symbol close to it. Take a pin or a paper clip insert into it you feels like pressing a button hold it for 20-30 seconds. ​

    Is this the battery or CPU temperature? If it is the battery, then the fans will not cool it down much, and if it is the CPU, then those are normal temperatures. The fans are mostly silent since the fan is made from thin metal blades.

    There is no fan noise that's the issue.. and i'm unable to detect fan using speed fan software hinfo etc. do your swift 3x produce noise?

    If the fan were not running the temperatures for the CPU would be quite a bit higher. Your numbers look perfect. You likely will not hear the fan unless it's running at near maximum speed, and that will take CPU temperature in excess of 80-90°C.

    And what about the battery drain? It only lasts 4-5 hours.

    Battery life is primarily determined by the applications running, either in the foreground of the background. Apps that use the network or do lots of disk activity use the most battery. Typically browsers and antivirus apps are problematic for battery life. Are you still using the antivirus that came preinstalled or have you switch to just using Windows Defender?

    no, I have uninstalled the anti-virus. and I'm using Opera browser only.

    Try optimizing the battery:
    a) activate power save mode in power options:

    b) enable battery saver mode always:

    c) enable airplane mode and disable bluetooth:

    d) decrease the display brightness:
