I had and have the same problem. I think Acer is fully aware of this and has done this to make you buy a new product. I had and have the same problem. I contacted Acer over the phone and a Woman told me that because I am out of warranty, they will not fix it as they only fix warranty products. So I sent my Acer to a third party. Of cause a new main board needed to be fitted for over $600 and after 10 minutes of playing a game the laptop switched it self back off. This time different reasons like TDR failure or schedule internal error and all linked to the GPU. So I disabled the GPU even though temperatures are ranging between 40-55 degrees Celsius for the CPU and GPU is idle. I was online surfing the web when the Laptop switched itself off and after opening it up, I saw the same chips, the ones on your picture, burned out again. Acer doesn’t give a monkey, you have bought their product and it’s designed to break when the warranty ends and then they leave you to it. The only recommend I can give you is buy Alienware or a MSI or even Omen but, not Acer. Over 2K down the drain for a apparently well performing gaming laptop. Shame on Acer

Hello guys, I got exactly the same problem. PL1701 is burned. This thing is a Shielded SMD  power inductor. Value is 1R0 (1UH), I think SIZE is 0630. I replaced a new 1R0 inductor but still no luck. I am not a proficient guy on the circuit board. But I think there is somewhere short circuit during this thing burn or somewhere short circuit to cause it burn. And I can't figure out where is the problem. If someone know more please tell.

No. After replace it. Still not working. I buy it from China TxxBxx. It just a Inductor. Don’t know how to repair it. My knowledge is limited. Sad..
