Since 2 weeks I have a new Predator Triton 300 (PT315-52-754V).

There is a VERY annoying problem at times. With no reason the GPU fan begins to fluctuating between 1400 and 1650 rpm like crazy (CPU fan stays on the same speed). You can hear this fluctating (makes a very annoying sound), and this strange fluctuation usually results in the CPU temperature getting higher (+10 C) than it used to be when there is no problem.

The problem occurs during daily use (browsing the internet, watching video, etc), when the GPU is not in use.

Sometimes if I shut down the computer and restart the problem goes away, sometimes it sticks. I suspect the Preadator Sense is at fault.

Does somebody know a solution for this problem?  Deleting Predator Sense and installing it again doesn’t help

    That's actually totally normal.
GPU fan will always spin faster than CPU fan irrespective of the load.
The difference in RPMS that you are mentioning is actually really low, they can range a lot more than this depending on the type of webpage you are browsing.
By default, chrome uses hardware acceleration which is your GPU when needed, you can disable this through settings.
You can also disable cool boost if it's enabled. This should make the rpms lower and spikes more gradual making it more subtle to notice.
But it will run a little hotter.

Like I said above its not normal.

It works for example for 3 days exactly the same: the fan slowly but constantly accelerating or decelerating depending on the load. This is the normal operation. When it goes crazy, the CPU fan spins around 1500 RPM without a sudden jump and stays the same, while the GPU fan starts fluctuating between 1400 and 1600 every 2-3 seconds. So it spins 1400 RPM for 2 seconds, then 1600 RPM for 2 seconds, then 1400 again for 2 seconds, and so on. Jumping back and forth. And as I said above you can hear the fan strain constantly (like when you try to start a car, but its not working) and the system temperature is going nuts.

Its like its forgeting the fan control protocol.

If I fiddle in Predator Sense with the fan speed, like turning on the Turbo mode for one minute, or turning on the Cool boost mode for one minute then turn off. Then it returns to normal usually. So I thinks its definitely the Predator Senses fault, I just don’t know if there is a solution.

I have problems with Acer Care too (forgeting setting evry 2 day, update search not working), so its like they forget to upgrade the apps so they dont work with the new laptop modells.

I can't find available GPU cooling fan for my predator Triton 330 (PT315-52) on the web... When I search for it, there's only offers for predator Helios 300. SO I would like to know, if the predator Helios 300 fan is compatible for the Predatore triton 300.
The one that comes with the triton is the 4th gen aeroblade 3D technology

i have the same issue, but its the CPU fan, and yes its this sound, but sometimes diff pitch

recently the CPU fan also started malfunctioning with it not running (0rpm, sometimes even when turbo on), and with turbo on, the fan hits only 3000+rpm max, how to fix this?
