Black screen on a515-54-51r2

I have a a515-54-51r2 and the screen is now black - although I can see a very dim image. Can I replace the backlight only or do I have to replace the entire screen?

The backlight is usually built into the display so "it depends" if its the ribbon cable or the light itself.
As the lights are LED's it is unusual for all of them to go at once so it could just be a loose or boke connector. If its still in warranty RMA would be the best option0
