Hello,
I Acer Aspire A515-54 Model N18Q13,
when it goes to sleep, it won't wake up with moving the mouse/keyboard only if I open the lid.
I check the device manager/power management and the bios fix as well
and nothing work... any idea what to do?

    Hi LipaABob,

Yes, I think I understand your issue. In order to save the power in the battery the unit display will goes OFF when you close the lid. So "unless when you open the lid, it won't wake up." Now is it working fine when you opens the lid.

The lid has a hall effect sensor to detect when it is open or closed. If the lid remained closed, you wouldn't be able to do anything without an external monitor.

    Hi LipaABob,

It's a normal process as JackE said unit led has effect sensor. What happens when the led is open at that time is mouse and keyboard is working.

I have an outside monitor, and it's connected, at night I close the monitor and put the acer on sleep mode (so I can get some sleep :-) )
but in the morning, unless I open the lid, it won't wake up. :-(

Try toggling thru the three FN+F5 key combinations, external screen only, lid screen only, lid+external screens, External screen only might work.
