I accidentally deleted my hdi touch screen and dont know how to get it back, please help! SP111-34N

My touchscreen stopped working a day ago and I searched the internet for answers, one said to delete and scan the hardware but that just resulted in it being gone forever. I also tried downloading the touchscreen from another spin series but I think that will break my laptop so I didn't try it. My model name is SP111-34N, someone please help me.

The support site should have a driver for your touchscreen,

In device manager, select show hidden devices, it may make it appear, or, is there anything that's showing as an unknown device

I have done everything that you have said, clicked the show hidden devices and it has not come up because I have uninstalled it accidentally and the support site does not have it for my particular model.

Is restoring the windows resetting it? I had reset my laptop on Friday, with the personal setting intact but that has not done anything, checked the device manager and it is still not there :<

Ish, if you mean the "reset this pc" option in windows 10 its almost exactly the same as a system restore. A couple of things which may work, you could try if there is a battery reset button on the bottom depress it for around 30 seconds , or safe mode to see if its detected.

Installing the "wrong" driver wont have any negative effects either, so it may be worth trying to install the from the other device.

If these dont work, and you dont mind, it may be worth us looking through the event logs to see if there are any errors being reported by it which suggest what the issue is. It could be faulty and need a rma

I will try the power button reset and if it still doesn't come up, I might try downloading the touchscreen driver from another spin series. And if these two still don't work then please try looking through my event logs,,,

There's a slight problem...I don't know the password for the startup password, is it different from your Microsoft password and log in password and also the email password?
