Hi everyone.
I'm posting here because i have already made everything on my possibilities and I'm really tired of this problem.
I bought this laptop with the idea of not having any fps troubles at least on medium settings on the games but I'm very dissapointed.
I'm having FPS drops on every single game, GTA V, The witcher 3, Metro Last Light, Yuzu Emulator... just for telling you some of the games.

My laptop is an Acer nitro 5 AN515-44 with Ryzen 7 4800H, 16 GB RAM dual Channel, GTX 1650 4gb GPU.

I have already tried the next:
  • Clean install of windows 10
  • Always play with the laptop plugged in
  • Performed a clean install of the Nvidia drivers using DDU
  • Enable High Performance battery plan and also Maximum Performance
  • Disabled background apps
  • Disabled visual efects
  • Updated all my drivers
  • Used a game booster like Razer
  • Set High Performance GPU on graphical settings on windows 10
  • Enabled Hardware Acceleration Graphics
I'm sure I have done a lot of things more but those all the ones that I remember in the moment.

Please help me, I'm really tired of the drops on every game. I also have it playing even in the lowest graphical settings what is illogical.

What are the CPU and GPU temperatures during gaming?

I think your CPU temperatures should be the problem. You need to repaste the CPU and clean the air vents.

Just to add to @EvilMorty answer as I too suspect thermal throttling. You want to do a combo of temp management solutions. Look into undervolting your CPU, try removing dust from fans via a rebuild style clean when you also repaste the cpu and gpu with kryonaut TIM. Also a good quailty laptop cooler will stop climbing temps and reduce 4C off. Even though you say max is 90C youll get spikes above that will cause your problems.
