problem with my Chromebook 514

Hi.
I am having a problem with my Chromebook 514 which is still under warranty.
When I press the on button , the blue light lights up on side but the screen remains blank.
Any ideas please?

    Hi seeknp,

    Hard reset your Chromebook
    1. Turn off your Chromebook.
    2. Press and hold Refresh + tap Power .
    3. When your Chromebook starts up, release Refresh .
    You will get a reset screen follow the on screen instruction.

    It may be some OS malfunction.
