Can't Get SD Reader to Install

I woke up this morn to find my SD reader has disappeared. So I dowloaded the cardreader zip file, but can't find the setup.exe.  I tried a few different things, but always end up with something saying it can't download right now ~if I even get that far.
Can you show me how to do it as if I was an Amish person using a laptop for the first time??
Thank you.

Open Device Manager. Do you see any red or yellow warnings? Jack E/NJ

Search for 'SD' without the quotes in Windows start  menu. What do you see pop up near top of menu? Jack E/NJ

I'm not seeing anything. I typed SD in the search bar next to the Windows icon.

Right click on the Windows start icon. Use the search there. If nothing shows, try searching for 'card'. If still nothing shows, please post where you downloaded the cardreader.zip file and I'll check it out. Jack E/NJ

I did the right-click thing and did the search from there.  The only result I got was the card reader file I downloaded (everything else was internet results).
I downloaded the file from here:   Product Support | Acer United States
I downloaded the card reader drive.
Hopefully that will show the right link when I send this.
I was following the directions on a YouTube channel. It told me to fine the setup.exe file, which I can't on this. So I tried a different way ~can't remember what that was, I been through so much fiddling with this~ and it wouldn't go through.

You must open FileExplorer and double-click on the cardreader.zip file  to unzip or decompress the file.. A cardreader folder should be created with a subfolder named utility. The setup.exe is in this utility subfolder. Double click on the setup.exe file to install. Jack E/NJ

I see the 'utility' file. When I double-click on that, I see 2 revcon files and a display file.

In the Utility folder, search setup*.exe

You have a Realtek PCIE card reader.

The latest driver is from Microsoft Update Catalog. Get somebody who is familiar with driver installation via device manager to install the driver for you.
