Yes!! That's why I wanted you to hold off.
    (1) Try to boot back into normal Windows.
    (2) Then set the next Win boot for Win safe mode.
    (3) Boot into Win safe mode
    (4) Then disable VMD again
    (5) Then re-boot into Win safe mode again
    (6) Then set the next boot into normal Windows
    (7) See if normal Windows boot with VMD disabled

It is booting now both for Windows and Ubunto and below what i have done after installation of Ubunto for those who encountered the same situation:

1- Set the "VMD Controller" to enabled on the bios in order to boot to windows
2 After booting to windows, config windows to boot in safe Mode with "msconfig" command,
3- After windows starts, go to "Device Manager" and desactivate the "VMD Controller",
4-Restart the computer and desactivate "VMD Controller" also on the "Bios",
5-Restart the computer and desactivate the "Safe Mode" and restart again the computer

The computer will boot now with "VMD Controller" desabled and with this way we can boot wether for windows or Ubunto.
But i have questions about this new configuration:

1- when set "VMD Controller" as desabled, this is IDE or AHCI or Raid for SATA Mode ?
2- Do you know where is stored windows professional in my disk driver, below the schema for my disk taked from Ubunto:

3- And the Alt + F10 is not working despite it was enabled in the Bios ?

    Thanks for replying

Now it is booting both for windows and Ubunto with "VMD Controller" desabled, so for who encoutered the same situation the "VMD Controller" should be desabled on "Device manager" (Done with booting in "Safe Mode") and also in the "Bios" (enter to the Bios and hit "Ctrl + S" in the "main" tab).

But i have some questions with this new configuration:

2- To witch SATA Mode is refred the desabling of VM Controller: IDE, AHCI or RAID ?

1- Where is stored my windows partition in my disk, is it in hidden partition ? see screenshot of disk below:

2- Why the Alt + F10 is not working despite it is enabled on the Bios

    Thanks for replying

Congrats. I already answered these questions in another related thread that you started under a different username. Please avoid posting multiple threads on problems with the same machine under different ussernames. It can confuse and prolong solving these issues.

    1) If WinPro was not the factory-installed OEM Win version, then ALT+F10 usually won 't work especially after re-partitioning the drive which your drive has been
    2) The C ; \ partition is the Windows system partition. The hidden EFI partition allows Windows C :  \ system partition to boot.
    3) A non-OEM WinPro license can be transferred following these directions. A factory installed OEM license can NOT.

Can you boot from WinPro drive as-is or not? Why do you need to recover it? If a  recent update or software upgrade caused the issue, it can usually be reversed if done soon enough.

Sorry @JackE, the last question for this topic

To witch SATA Mode is refred the desabling of VM Controller: IDEAHCI or RAID ?

    AHCI.

On the other topic you asked about,

    1) Your drive was apparently further partitioned into a D ; \  drive, an E : \ drive and an unallocated partition after it left the factory. This almost always disrupts the ALT+F10 OEM recovery function to return the system and drive to a factory fresh state.

    2) The hidden OEM recovery partition is marked as a 512MB hidden recovery partition as shown in your earlier disk manager screenshot. It is a compressed archive of the OEM Windows that is usually located at the end of the drive where the D : \ partition is now located. The exact operational nature of the ALT+F10 cold boot recovery method is ACER proprietary and not available to us users on this forum.  Other than forum moderators, we are neither ACER employees, contractors or authorized ACER service representatives on this forum, only users such as yourself voluntarily trying to help other users.
