Iconia w700 keyboard case not working

Hi,

I have had the w700 for about 2 weeks now and I am, appart from the throttling issue, completely happy with it.

But when I turned Flightmode on and off for the first time the bluetooth keyboard didn't work any more.

In the manual it says that this occasionally happens and that you simply have to remove the device and re-pair(?) it.

but every time I try to remove the device (under pc-settings/devices and then touch the little - next to the keyboard's name) it simply says unable to remove device /error when trying to remove the device (I've got the german version and it acctually says: "Fehler beim entfernen des Geräts").

I'd be really thankful if anyone had an idea how to solve this as the support apperantly doesn't know anything about their own products.

I don't have any suggestions to help, but I'm curious: did you have the keyboard on and connected to the W700 when you went into airplane mode?  I just went into and out of airplane mode and had no problems with the Bluetooth keyboard connecting again, but the keyboard was off when I did it, hence my question: if the problem only occurs if the keyboard is connected when you go into airplane mode, that's an easy way to avoid it.

I've had this issue before where I could not delete the pairing. To delete the device for repairing, I uninstalled the bluetooth driver (device manager) and qualcomm bluetooth software (uninstall a program), after whcih you should be able to delete the device for repairing. Of course, I would also take this opportunity to do the same with the wifi driver and update to the new .225 driver package.

    Stupid me!

I knew it was something very simple Smiley Tongue

    It usually is.

So, after trying to connect to the keyboard, just simply "keep pressing the power button on the keyboard" until it''s pairing.

Then it gives the security code....

    lol, so simple.

I was pressing buttons on the keyboard and it wouldn''t connect...

There I was thinking it was broken.

Well, many thanks to all for the helpSmiley Happy

Had the same issue.  Couldn't remove keyboard from devices to re-pair.  I noticed airplane mode was off, wireless was on, but bluetooth was off.  Turned BT on.  Issue fixed.  For some reason BT didn't turn itself back on after airplane mode.
