Hi, my laptop won't turn on even when the AC adapter connected to mains. BLUE light stays on when AC adapter is connected to laptop but off when disconnected.
Tried battery reset with the pin underneath laptop but didn't help, still the same. Anyone have any ideas?

Remove the charger again. The re-do the paperclip reset again but this time press and hold it for 60 seconds. Then plug the charger back in but wait for the battery charge LED to turn from solid orange to solid blue. This may take a while if the battery really isn't fully charged. Then try to turn it back on. Jack E/NJ

Have you taken the bottom cover or base cover off for anything? Jack E/NJ

Some mainboards have a springloaded safety interlock switch that cuts all power to the mainboard if the bottom cover or RAM/HDD door is misaligned/removed or screws not  tight enough. Usually located around the RAM/DIMM sockets. It probably would be similar in appearance to the springloaded battery cutoff switch shown below (SW1). I would first try to tight the screws around the bottom cover and door just in case they might be a bit loose. Jack E/NJ
