Unallocated space on Hard Drive

Hello All,

I have purchased an Aspire XC600, all is good apart from that it has a 2TB Hard Drive, yet has nearly 1TB of unallocated space.

Looking at the partitions I have:

400mb Recovery Partition

300mb EFI System Partition

18gb Recovery Partition

455.95gb Partition - C:

456.76gb Partition - D:

931.50gb unallocated space.

Now I know I could create a new parition, and use this as E: for example, but it seems daft this had been left unallocated and the best solution would be for the two usable paritions to be appox 920gb each.

Is there a sensible way to do this?
