My Aspire 722, which I keep plugged in most of the time, is lately not showing anything on the screen when I turn it on. The blue power light goes on, as do the small lights at the front of the keyboard (except the wireless light), but the screen remains dark. I have to manually turn it off, then press the power button again, and THEN it boots up properly.

I haven't tried the removing the battery, unplugging and holding the button down for 30 seconds trick, but I wonder if this is a different scenario and what I can do? It hasn't shown any signs of crashing.
