Acer V3, won't repair, won't boot from CD

Hi guys, this might be a lengthy post so excuse me for that.
Acer aspire V3-771G 3 months old, had windows 8 installed.
Okay, so about a week ago I started getting random blue screens including errors such as memory management, kernel security or display driver issues. So I followed the steps to reset to factory without loosing my files, this didn't fix it, so I tried to use the recovery software to do a complete wipe and reinstall,
this also did not work, gave me errors about missing or corrupt files, and the acer recovery aborted because I'd created an extra backup partition. At this stage I decided to use a recovery cd, which gave me the same errors and also corrupted my current install after the error, leaving me with an in bootable OS. So at this point I decided to create a Linux live CD , do a clean wipe and install windows 7, at least until I could get a copy of the recovery disks from Acer. But when I tried to boot from the CD, it was telling me that no bootable media had been found, despite the fact that I had tested this not 10 minutes before on my flat mates computer where it had worked fine. Now I'm sort of at a loss... Any suggestions ?

Last week i did buy an V3 571G , same as yours but smaller 15". Whitin the first hour i didn't like windows 8 and recovery partitions . I did an format the hidden recovery and the v3 wouldn't start up again. Like your acer. I googled about 2 hours and found an prog that did the trick. It's an security in the bios named gpt and mbr (also an hidden partition). The prog is Rufus and whit that you can make a bootable usbstick with gpt support. I formatted al hidden partitions and the cd started up again and i could install window 7 64 bit.

    Hello,

You mention that your Acer aspire V3-771G is 3 months old.  Why don't you use the warranty benefits and call the support technicians to discuss your issue.  They will be able to help you if it is a hardware related not software or 3rd party download programs issue.

Contact the Acer center in your region: http://www.acer.com/worldwide/support/service.htm

    Good day

I'm planning to do this, however since I've gt some downtime I figured I'd try to work out what the issue was, especially since the last time I spoke to one of their repair technicians it was extremely difficult to understand him
