my Aspire 4330 powers on but the displays black acreen, how can I solve the problem?
my laptop went black acreen all of sudden when I power it on. I can hear the fan was runuing, the WLAN was running and the dvd rom was ok and just can see the Acer logo on the screen which was just totally black. I can find any number to call Acer service and it will cast me to call anyway. Can anyone give suggestion?

The only thing I can think of is a system recovery. This will erase all personal data off of your hard drive:
If your computer turns on, you should be able to hit <ALT> <F10> when you see the Acer screen and it will go into the recovery screen. If you are not able to, then you may have a hard drive issue. You can purchace your recovery disks at http://store.acer.com.

I also have black screen on my aspire 4330 do i need to do a recovery as well.. if i do the recovery do i need the software
this was given to me as a present.. rght now its hooked up to the moniter..
