Bluetooth via dongle on my Aspire Z5761

Hello there.

 

I have installed a bluetooth dongle on my All in One Aspire so I can stream music to some bluetooth speakers.

Everthing has installed fine, in device manager it appears OK. I can connect and pair devices OK.

The problem comes when I try to play music via bluetooth using Media Player. When I right click on speaker icon in taskbar and chose playback devices, my bluetooth does not appear in the list only the Realtek HD audio device.

 

I know this is not a Acer only problem as I have researched the web and many people blame it on Windows7. I am not convinced and believe it may be caused by the onboard audio not allowing me to pick my playback device.

 

Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated
