T232HL Cracked Digitizer. Help to buy a new one

Hi,

I have bought a T232HL when I was in the US and when I arrive home ( Brazil) I realized that there were a semi circle risk on the screen. Everything works fine with the exception of the touchscreen. When I plug the USB cable, Windows starts to recognize many touches at the same time. Probably I will have to change the digitizer as the LCD seems to be perfectly.  Looking the monitor, it seems that the digitizer is a top layer glued to the monitor. 

 

Can anyone confirm if I can only change the digitizer ? If yes where can I buy One ? I have sent an email to ACER but with no answer. I will be back in the US next week ( NY) and I would like to buy the digitizer part.  I would replace it here in Brazil

No sure that a digitizer by itself can be purchased but in case this helps here is the acer store site and there is a phone number on that site as well so when you are in US with your US purchased unit they might be able to assist.
