How do I get a power board for my H213H BMID monitor?

I have an Acer h213h bmid monitor that I bought around christmas of 2008.

The trouble is this:

1. When I power the monitor, I get the "ACER" logo for half a second and then the screen goes black.

2. A few seconds later I get the "no signal" box for half a second and then the screen goes black.

3. After this, I power my system, and EVERY TIME THE RESOLUTION CHANGES during boot, I see the screen at that point for half a second and then the screen goes black.
IOW:
3a. I'll get the boot menu screen for half a second, and then the screen goes black.
3b. Then I'll get the windows "XP" screen for half a second and then the screen goes black.
3c. Then I'll get the windows "Welcome" screen for half a second, and then the screen goes black.
3d. Finally, I'll get an image of my desktop for half a second and then the screen goes black.

I suspect the HV is bad, and in this case the inverters are part of the power supply board.

Now is where it gets weird: Power supply boards for "Acer h213h" are all over the net for anything from $5-$50, with the most common part number being given as "715G2824-4-5".

However, NONE of them bears any physical resemblance to mine. Mine has 2 HV transformers while most of the others only have 1 (although they all seem to have the 4 lamp connectors). Furthermore, mine has its mounting holes in completely different places then any of the others.

There is a number on my powerboard that gets me closer to what I'm looking for, but still no banana. That number is "E162032 VOL. 3".
Researching that number gives me boards that look a bit more like the one I have, but still with different physical configurations, different Acer monitors, and EVEN DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS, so I'm actually left completely baffled as to what in the hell that number even means.

Why is it so damned DIFFICULT to get a stupid POWER BOARD for a freaging MONITOR???

This is the best damned monitor that I've ever owned (I think it's even slightly better than the Acer G236HL I bought to replaced it), and I can't stand the thought that it's now nothing but scrap just because nobody knows what the hell is inside the damned thing!

Even a schematic for the power board might help me troubleshoot it down to the component level so I could repair the board instead of replacing it.

Please help me out here!

PS: Here's a pic of my power board:

My X213w has the same symptoms.  I guess no one has an answer...

Any resolution? I bought my H213H in January 2008 and now having the same problem.  Grudgingly I would follow up on a replacement part and fix this although I'm not technically inclined. But if there is nothing definitive on the part I'm reluctant to do it. I have not contacted Acer yet but it seems a problem when they offer a 3 year warranty on a monitor that has a 4 year lifespan.
