Iconia W700 Bluetooth

Hi,

I was wondering if I can switch off the bluetooth power management?

Sometimes when I am off from my desk, the connected devices such as Keyboard and mouse will lose connectivity and trying to connect them back is definitely a pain in the *****.

I'm using a Logitech BT Keyboard and Microsoft Scuplt Mouse.

Any way of lengthening the connectivity will be useful.

With the .222 and .224 drivers, there isn't an option to turn off bluetooth power management that I'm aware of. But for the disconnect issue, it would often work for me if I call up Acer Ring (5 finger touch) and turn off bluetooth and then back on. If still not reconnected after that, usually turning off and back on of the mouse and keyboard will do.

i have cleaned up the Acer softwares as I do not like unwanted softwares lurking inside ... so I'm not sure of the Acer ring you mention ... but i did tried turning on and off the devices ... it is not a 100% sure work as sometimes it got me so ** that restarted the entire machine and it will definitely reconnect (i'm not wanting this as a permanent solution)

Of all the Acer software, I think the Acer Ring is pretty useful as it allows you to turn on/off Wifi, Bluetooth, AND here is the big one - Turn off screen

So I would probably reinstall Acer Ring as it would provide an easier solution to the sleeping bluetooth.
