Acer Aspire V3

My laptop just went blank last week and when I tried to turn it on, all I got was a blue light on the power button, which flashed 5 times and then nothing. I have tried the fix all over the Internet of discharging the static, even left the battery and plug out for 2 days and still the same 5 blue flashes on the power button. Any ideas?

Aspire V3 flashing 5 times could indicate faulty memory or issue with the motherboard. Either way yes you are going to need to have your unit repaired. If you have a V3 I can safely assume you are covered under warranty. Call Acer and they will arrange repairs for your unit. Usually takes no more than a week and a half including shipping.
