Hello Acer community!

I have an Aspire 5750, with a fresh install of Windows 7 home. I have installed the drivers and all that fun stuff, but i seem to be haivng some issues. When I am at home my wifi is great, but when I get to work I start to have problems. I try to login to the network and it says it's connected to the network but it also says Unidentified Network (No internet access). Thus, I am unable to connect. I have tried reinstalling the drivers and disabling my virus software, but nothing seems to work. Please help!

Here is some additional information relevant to my problem:

Wifi Adapter: Atheros AR5B97 Wireless Network Adapter

Wifi Adapter Driver Version: 9.1.0.334

Router at work: 2Wire Gateway 2701HG-B

    Few questions..

First, how do you log into your work network? Is it a broadcast SSID you select, or info you get from the IT department?

When you are conected, but have no internet, what IP address does your computer have?

(Try, just on the off chance it does the trick, connecting to the wireless at work, then clicking start. In the search-bar (Start menu) type cmd, and open the command line window. type first "ipconfig /release" then "ipconfig /renew"....Then check for an internet connection...Your device may be holding onto its IP address from home, and not picking up a new one at work)
