Hello to All,

I juste came in to get help.

It seems to be a very interesting and useful forum.

I really hope to get help from the community and the specialist moderator.

I bought an Acer C110 Projector which was working perfectly with my previous Laptop Acer under W7.

I bought a brand new Acer Laptop Aspire V3 with W8.

The 2 Acer products do not work at all together.

I can not even install the C110 Projector driver on.

Please, can I get help from someone ????

Thanks for feedback

Has anyone at Acer looked at this issue with the C110, I have purchased an Iconia W510 and now my C110 is scrap, when will this issue be sorted?? Again I have tried all the compatability methods and still no joy.

you are a company with a very flippant. I will never again take an ACER. $ 300 gone to waste. Why not work with windows 8. You did not even answer. I'm telling you now. Do not take any acer product

    Hi nothappy

The issue here, is not with Acer, but with Microsoft. AlicePattinson states back in post #2 that there are many issues about the projector not working with Windows 8. A quick Google also mentions the problem.

    See here for further information.

I'm sorry you feel dissatisfied with Acer, but when they released the C110, Windows 7 was the latest OS, and it worked fine with it. This is Microsoft's fault, I'm afraid! You would have the same problem with another manufacturers Windows 8 machine.

    I definitly agree with you.

    This is MS stuff.

But Acer should take the problem in sight and get involved with MS to solve the trouble.

So please convey this to the top boss who can deceide.

    Thanks for understanding.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2014

    Best Regards

Yes, Microsoft should be more involved with the OEMs. But it would help if Microsoft didn't keep moving the goal posts!

Merry Christmas & Happy new year to you too Smiley Happy

It is not Microsoft problem. Acer should update the driver.

How ever, I created my own application for projector which I am using in windows 8.

    Everything working fine.
