I searched Acer website for the laptop I wanted to get for my husband for Father's Day. I wanted to get him something special, like a touch screen laptop. I chose V5-431-2675  P/N NX M17AA 005 where in the overview it said it has:

A Full HD1 touchscreen2 breathes life into your entertainment and gives you hands-on control, while four built-in speakers1 make your enjoyment all the more sweet with great sound.

Picked it up from reseller - Walmart - last ight and it is not a touchscreen..unless there is some way to activate it. I am really, really bummed for the false advertising! This is so not right.

While the product page does state touchscreen, there is a small superscripted '2' which, lower down the page, states 'Specifications vary depending on model'.
Unfortunately your model, NX.M17AA.005, does not have a touchscreen according to the data sheet (It doesn't mention one).
I think the Touchscreen models have a 'P' designation too.

The page is a classic example of 'Read the small print' I'm afraid!
We don't have Walmart over here but perhaps they would allow you to exchange it.
