Acer S5 with magsafe style AC input.
Hi everyone,
I am new to the forums but I have been a keen acer user for several years now, since I am looking to upgrade from my current 8935g to the S5 ultrabook (wanting to reduce size and weight, screen resolution and size are not an issue) I was hoping somebody here might be able to assist me in idetifying a particular model of S5.
As the subject suggests I am after an S5 with the magsafe style Ac input, I have searched long and hard online but had no luck locating one, does anyone know of a parcticular model of S5 that has it.
Fingers crossed, hope you guys can help, thanks!

Hi Alan,
I appreciate the link to the US patent etc, however I have actually seen the device with the magsafe style charger all over the internet. I beleive acer defended the design with is slight difference using the phrase 'there are only so many ways you can draw a stickman (along with such a style of charger having to meet safety regulations)'.
I know it exists as it is shown on many demo models at conferences and in reviews, but nowhere does anyone mention it in sales adverts online or the model number of a particular (possibly higher end model) S5 that does hae it.https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=9Iw0myQWweAk4M&tbnid=ZjADqK4TxHEO-M:&ved=0CAUQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Ftbreak.com%2Ftech%2F2012%2F08%2Facer-aspire-s5-ultrabook-review%2F&ei=e9WZUYfeMsil0AW8noDYDg&bvm=bv.46751780,d.d2k&psig=AFQjCNFBry2kzxvSJqyBMb1I2lOl_mB5Cw&ust=1369122550875630
Apologies for the excessive URL but that image does show an acer S5 with the style of AC input I'm after.
Thanks.0
