How do I change the mouse pointer on a 8951G??

This seems like a stupid question but I can't seem to get the mouse pointer changed to an extra large black.  I go to the control panel, pick the one I want, click on "apply" which goes grey but nothing happens.    I've never run into this before.

hmm well normally you are right. You should have to go to the control panel and then go into the mouse and then go to the mouse properties then to the pointer tab. if this does not work go into the Device manager and reinstall the device driver.

Thanks Joshua.  This leads to another question.  I checked the driver, even tho it's a Logitech wireless mouse, it shows the driver as the standard (I presume) Microsoft mouse driver.  And of course it sez it's working properly.  So what would I do next??

Further note - I downloaded the Logitech SetPoint software and installed it.  However, when you go to the Device Manager and click on that device, there are no options for changing the mouse pointer size, color, etc. only the speed and that sort of things......

well the Logitech mouse may have its own software but normally will just piggyback off the gener device driver. Im not to sure how the unit will still have the driver working with the touchpad so im not sure how it will respond using both the touchpad/wireless mouse. The function may be disabled. I will test this and write the results
