My Acer Aspire x3200 is about to become a target.

I am a computer tech and my Aspire x3200 is doing things i have never seen a PC do.  I won't bore you all with details, but let me say it's coming really close to becoming a target.

OK, I will bore you with some details.  About 2 or 3 months ago it started logging out of windows just a minute or so after I had gotten to my desk top.  For awhile it took 3 reboots before it would stay in windows.  Recently it has gotten to the point where it's in a rebooting loop from hell.  I have done so much trouble shooting on the thing that I'm to the point of having forgotten all I have tried.  I've tried the clean boot thing, the disable all the services thing and then enable half of the services, then reboot and see if it would not reboot.  I'm not sure what the name of the disable then enable services thing is, but it can get damned confusing after awhile.

OK, I feel better now.  I just had to rant a little.  I am about to reinstall Win 7, I have left that option as my last resort.

Please wish me luck.

I suspect reinstall of W7 should have been your second or third resort.

Smiley HappyPersevere my friend, you are smarter and better informed than your calculating machine.

You are so right Leho, but by God I just didn't want the dang machine to beat me, but it did. It did allow me to try things I haven't tried in quite sometime. I really wish in the end I would have at least found out why it was doing what it was doing, even if I couldn't have fixed it. Thanks for the reply my friend.
